Hi Kenney, I can't believe I was standing next to you at the John Waite in studio last night in Philly. Had I know that I would have said thanks for one of my favorite albums....Derringer Live. I can't tell you how much that album influenced my drumming and awareness of how important the connection between the drummer and bass is....Thank you. Rick Eddy

Love Dust and your solo projects/recordings! Keep rockin! Would really like to know how you got the sound you did with Dust on Hard Attack, what kind of setup were you working with?

The New York Dolls Are Back With A New Lineup The New York Dolls, one of Americas most legendary rock 'n' roll bands, featuring original members lead singer David Johansen and rhythm guitarist Sylvain Sylvain are back on the road, on a two month tour with Motley Crue and Poison. The New York Dolls have added a new lineup, legendary New York guitarist Earl Slick, legendary New York bass player Kenny Aaronson and drummer Jason Sutter. Earl Slick best known for playing guitar and recording with former Beatle John Lennon and David Bowie. He's also played with Phantom, Rocker & Slick, featuring Slim Jim Phantom and Lee Rocker from The Stray Cats, Yoko Ono, former Babys lead singer John Waite, former Mott The Hoople frontman Ian Hunter, Robert Smith of The Cure, Leo Sayer and 80's bands Little Ceasar and Dirty White Boy. Kenny Aaronson played bass with Dust (the band also featured drummer Marc Bell a.k.a. Marky Ramone of The Ramones),, Rick Derringer, Bob Dylan, Hall & Oates, former Mountain lead singer / guitarist Leslie West, former Hanoi Rocks lead singer Michael Monroe, Foghat, John Eddie, Graham Parker, Billy Squire, Edgar Winter, Dave Edmunds, former Runaways lead guitarist Lita Ford, former Tuff Darts lead singer Robert Gordon, Mick Taylor of The Rolling Stones, former Stray Cats lead singer / guitaist Brian Setzer, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, former Sirius Trixon & The Motor City Bad Boys lead singer Sirius Trixon & The Caravan Of Stars and Hagar, Schon, Aaronson & Schrieve a.k.a. H.S.A.S. featuring former Montrose / Van Halen lead singer Sammy Hagar, former Santana and Journey guitarist Neal Schon and original Santana drummer Michael Schrives. Jason Sutter played drums with Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, Foreigner, Smash Mouth, Juliana Hatfield, The Rembrandts, Jason Fulkner of Jellyfish and American Hi Fi. The newest and latest lineup (David Johansen, Sylvain Sylvain, Earl Slick, Kenny Aaronson & Jason Sutter) is by far the strongest lineup ever, garanteed to knock your socks off. This time around Johansen and Sylvain have assembled a powerhouse of a band. Gone, but not forgotten are the original members, lead guitarist Johnny Thunders, bassist Arthur 'Killer' Kane and drummer Jery Nolan, who played on the first two albums: "New York Dolls" and "Too Much, Too Soon", back in the early 70's and the second lineup with lead guitarist Steve Conte, bassist Sami Yaffa, formerly with Hanoi Rocks and drummer Brian Delaney. They played on "One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This", "Morrissey Presents: Return Of The New York Dolls Live From Royal Festival Hall", "Cause I Sez So" and "Live At The Fillmore" albums. Former Blondie, Iggy Pop and Divinyls guitarist Frank Infante played on the latest "Dancing Backwards In High Heels" album, recorded in Newcastle, England. Infante only lasted a few months in the band. The New York Dolls, Motley Crue and Poison will be touring American, playing arenas for the months of June and July.
